The Brief
Audi Australia’s annual Dealer of the Year Awards brought dealerships from across the country together in Melbourne to celebrate 2024 achievements. It needed to feel prestigious and elevated – a black-tie night that honoured the network, recognised excellence, and reflected Audi’s sharp, modern brand presence.
We Imagined It
Because the dealer network is rarely all in one room, we shaped the night around connection first. Guests began with canapés and conversation in a dedicated arrivals space, before moving into the dining room for awards across a three course plated meal. Audi owned the space visually from the moment of arrival: a media wall set the tone, while a façade takeover carried Audi logo prints across the windows – unmistakable branding that felt intentional, not overdone.
We Designed It
This was a content heavy night delivered through CIEL’s impressive in-house tech. We created expansive, dynamic content inspired by materials at a macro level, paired with geometric forms referencing the trophy design. The graphic language was bold and confident – strong shapes, solid blocks of colour, and controlled impact. To hold attention without overwhelming the room, we used subtle motion through light and texture – engaging, but never distracting. The palette stayed monochromatic (black, grey, chrome) with red as a precise accent.
We Made It Happen
Team Event delivered the experience end-to-end: venue and hospitality, stage and set design, content identity and creation, styling and décor, trophy design/manufacturing/logistics, entertainment, and full run of show.
What the Room Felt Like
The room carried a sense of purpose – a rare moment of shared pride across the network. There was genuine connection early, and a steady sense of honour as awards were presented. Production and content gave the night weight, while the design stayed disciplined, intentional, and unmistakably Audi.
