Celebrity Chef Dinner Sydney
A three-part dining experience in Sydney Uni’s Great Hall, inspired by Josh Niland and brought to life through dramatic lighting, mirrored reflections and sculptural seafood elements.

The Brief
Inspired by chef Josh Niland, the event needed to weave in fish led details in a way that felt refined and intentional, with every element supporting the food, the room and the sense of occasion.
We Imagined It
We took over the Great Hall at the University of Sydney and set it with long tables under dramatic lighting – a room built for theatre. The experience unfolded as a progressive dinner in three acts: arrivals, main, then a dessert lounge. Josh guided the story of each course, speaking to the food and giving the night its anchor.
We Designed It
The room was intentionally bold , reflective and atmospheric. Mirror pillars became part of the lighting design, catching and throwing light back into the space. On the tables, nautical cues came through in details: unique flowers, ocean textures, and frozen fish suspended inside large ice cubes – sculptural, unexpected and unmistakably on brief.
We Made It Happen
Team Event delivered the experience end to end: production, show design, floral design, concept development, and custom menu design – shaping not just how the room looked, but how the night moved.
What the Room Felt Like
Guests walked into a space with real drama – a sense of occasion from the first step inside. The reaction was immediate: wowed faces, lifted energy and that rare feeling of being part of something that couldn’t be repeated.
