The Brief
Audi Australia brought Audi x Revolut to the Melbourne Formula 1 Grand Prix with a three-storey hospitality suite – the Audi Trackside Suite. The ask was clear: build a premium space where guest experience leads, balancing quality food and beverage, entertainment and uninterrupted track viewing inside an intentionally designed environment.
We Imagined It
Even inside a temporary structure, the ambition was permanence. We leaned hard into interior design – shaping a suite guests would choose to stay in, not just pass through. To create moments beyond the brief, we introduced points of engagement that rewarded curiosity: a race suit on display and a timeline of Audi history that anchored the space in legacy and craft.
We Designed It
With 400 guests moving across three levels, flow became the design problem to solve. Every floor needed access to food and beverage, seating choices, and entertainment, without bottlenecks or dead zones. We layered materials and colour to give the suite genuine interior depth: warm timber and concrete tones set a grounded base, while chromatic accents sharpened the overall finish. A burgundy red nod to Audi Sport introduced richness and elegance, lifting the space into something calm, confident, and distinctly premium.
We Made It Happen
The conversations began at the tail end of 2025, with planning and production accelerating from the start of 2026. The lead-up demanded a rigorous schedule, coordinating multiple suppliers in the weeks before race week, aligning stakeholders, and holding detail and quality through every decision. The result was a three storey environment that operated smoothly under pressure and delivered exactly as intended.
What the Experience Felt Like
Inside, the suite landed as calm away from the chaos of the track – elevated, premium and quietly prestigious. It carried a sense of pride and community, with design doing the heavy lifting: guests could settle in, stay longer, and feel the difference the moment they entered.
"What a debut that was indeed! You truly feel like an extension of the Audi Australia family, and we're so glad it was you along for the ride on such a special moment for the brand. We threw A LOT at you all, and your team just ran with it like the professionals you are, never once letting us see through the cracks."
