WHITE BALL –
A BLACK AND WHITE BALL –
Inspired by Truman Capote’s infamous 1966 Black and White Ball, the YWCA’s Mother of All Nights was an elegant affair. As guests entered the room they were captured by a floating balloon installation with mapped lighting effects which transformed the usual vintage look of the Sydney Town Hall. Continuing on a black and white graphic motif, the tables featured carefully constructed paper centrepieces, highlighting specific statistics relating to the cause. A 12 piece big band set the scene after formalities and a chic whisky bar in the vestibule allowed a retreat for guests who chose imbibing over dancing.
